Club Rep Leaders Event
FOR THE CLUB REP & CLUB ADMINS
In June, we welcomed a select group of club representatives from across the NCGA to our inaugural Club Rep Leaders Event. The two-day gathering featured catered meals, an inspiring keynote, an overnight stay, and a round of golf at Poppy Hills.
This invite-only gathering hosted entirely by the NCGA brought together the clubs that have shown the strongest membership growth and the highest levels of engagement with the NCGA in 2025, clubs that are setting the standard for what active, thriving club participation looks like.
The event was designed with three goals in mind: to inspire club reps with fresh ideas and success stories from across the region, to inform them on the tools, resources, and initiatives available to strengthen their clubs, and to reward the clubs whose hard work and engagement have made them standouts within the NCGA community.
Club attendees were selected because they performed well in 2025 in the following seven metrics:
Growth
Participation in NCGA Club Tournaments (i.e., Zone Championships, Senior Four-Ball Net Championship, Associate Club Championships, etc.)
Number of Volunteers the Club has (Tournament Officials/Course Raters)
% of Members who Posted a Score
Facility Hosted an NCGA Event
Club held Event at Poppy Hills/Ridge
Club Facility is an NCGA Member Benefit Course
During the Club Rep Leaders Event, club representatives heard directly from NCGA staff about the initiatives, resources, and support designed to strengthen their clubs and better serve members across the region.
To help every NCGA club benefit from these insights, we’re sharing the Club Rep Leaders Event Slide Deck below so your team can explore the ideas, apply the takeaways, and bring new momentum to your club.
This was just the beginning; we're already looking forward to bringing back an even bigger Club Rep Leaders Event next year. We're excited to see which clubs are at the top of the list in growth and participation for the NCGA Club Rep Leaders Event in 2027!
The NCGA Multi-Member Rebate Program is now open for all members who are active with more than one club. From July 15 - August 31, multi-members will be able to apply for their rebate by going to the NCGA Multi-Member Rebate Form below or on our website and choosing from:
$25 Poppy Hills or Poppy Ridge credit $15 donation to the NCGA Foundation $15 check
We are notifying NCGA members directly as well, but please feel free to include this in your own Club Communications.
There’s no extra step required from your club—everything is handled directly between the member and the NCGA, but it is contingent on the club membership dues being paid and the member being ACTIVE.
Therefore, please make sure your roster is up-to-date and club dues are paid. The deadline to apply for the rebate is August 31.
Does your club have an idea to grow the game, boost junior golf, or increase accessibility in your community? The NCGA Reach Grant provides funding to clubs looking to make a real impact. Application deadline: August 31.

As 2027 approaches, we want to help your club start the year prepared and informed.
Good news: NCGA rates will remain unchanged in 2027 at $48 per member.
If your club follows a calendar-year membership cycle from January through December, please wait until after January 1 to add new members, so your club is not billed twice for the same member.
If your club would like to learn more about changing from a calendar-year cycle to an anniversary-year cycle, please contact me.
