News, updates, resources, and reminders to share with your club this month
Hi NCGA Club Rep,
As the season gains momentum, we're here to help your club members get everything out of their membership! Whether it's holding club tournaments, members posting scores, or just sharing fun golf content through club newsletters, there are plenty of ways of keeping members engaged.
Thank you for all you do to grow the game and build community at your club!
Note: You’re receiving this newsletter as the Club Rep, and we appreciate your help in passing along these updates to any fellow club admins, like your membership chair, tournament chair, or members who might find them useful.

Upcoming NCGA Club Tournaments
FOR THE CLUB REP & TOURNAMENT CHAIR
Throughout the year, NCGA clubs are invited to take part in a select group of signature club events, and two exciting opportunities are coming up soon: the Associate Club Championship and the Senior Four-Ball Net!
Open to all Associate Clubs, the Associate Club Championship offers your club the chance to send a team of four players to represent your club in a local qualifier. All qualifying teams will be invited to play in the Championship event in Monterey. Register your team in a qualifier below before they fill up!
One of the final NCGA Club Tournaments of the year is the Senior Four-Ball Net Championship! Open to Regular and Associate Clubs alike, your club can send up to three teams to represent the club in a 2-person best ball local qualifier. All qualifying teams will play for the Championship at Poppy Hills! Reserve your team's spot today at one of the qualifiers linked on the Championship page below.
In an effort to help prospective NCGA Members find clubs like yours. The NCGA Club Finder Tool is almost ready to go live on our website!
Thank you to the clubs that have already submitted their club information. Your club is already set up in the NCGA Club Finder, which you can view by clicking below. If there are any changes that need to be made for your club, please email me, and we can update the club information before it goes live on our site.
If your club uses Membership Levels and online payments in Memberplanet, prospective members can join online through the Club Finder Tool.
If the club does not use the Memberplanet online payment system, the club's website will be linked in the club's "About Us" section so members can contact the club to join.
If your club does not have a Club website through either Memberplanet or a standalone website, but would like to include the club's email or phone number, please contact me to confirm.
If your club is not currently on the Club Finder Tool and would like to be included, please click here.
Bluegolf is continuing to help make tournament mangament easier for NCGA Clubs. They have released a new Bluegolf Training Webinar that can help with your current season or when onboarding a new admin who is learning the Bluegolf software.
Learn the core New TM foundation, including access, navigation, club setup, golfer directory management, tournament setup, and registration basics.
Feel free to use Bluegolf's extensive Knowledge Base to help with any questions you may have or contact them directly through the chat feature in your club's Bluegolf portal.
An easy way to engage with Members is by using the available reports in USGA Admin Portal under the "Reports" tab.
Reports include:
Handicap Index & Course/Playing Handicap Report - View members' current Handicaps
Handicap Index History Enhanced Report - Great for viewing players' handicap history
Most Improved Golfer Report - Most clubs have awards for the club's Most Improved Golfer of the Year
Played/Posted Report (Player Reports) - View which members have posted scores in a given time frame
These reports can be scheduled so they are automatically sent to your email address daily, weekly, or monthly.
Hot Tip: If you're directly sharing reports with your members, be sure not to include the GHIN Numbers.
You can quickly omit the GHIN Number field as you build your report, keeping member information secure while still sharing the insights that matter.
A powerful way to bring your club’s community to life, share regular performance snapshots so every member can easily view their progress and how they stack up alongside fellow golfers.
If you’d like support setting up or optimizing your USGA Admin Portal reports, simply reach out to our team here; we'd be glad to get you dialed in.

Rules of Golf 101: What Are the Areas of a Golf Course?
FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS
I'm well aware of the areas outside the golf course past those white stakes they put everywhere. 😆 But do you know what the defined areas are on a golf course?
The Rules of Golf (Rule 2.2) tell us the five areas of the golf course.
Put your NCGA and golf knowledge to the test for a chance to win great prizes. Open to Club Reps and your Club's members alike.
Congratulations to last month's winner, Kathleen Garmsen from Sequoia Woods WGC, and the Club Rep, Karen Chu!
