Getting Ready for 2027
FOR THE CLUB REP & CLUB ADMINS
As we head into 2027, we're highlighting some quick reminders for Club Management during renewal season.
No fee changes for 2027 - Membership fees will remain at $48 for every active member on your club roster.
Calendar Year Clubs (Jan - Dec):
New members must only be added after January 1, 2027. Adding a new member before January 1, will result in a charge for 2026 and another for 2027, with no refunds.
Renewing members can pay and stay on the roster with no issue.
Want more flexibility and automations? Clubs that switch to an Anniversary Year (rolling 12-month) model find it easier to recruit members year-round. Reach out if you'd like to make the change or to learn more.
Anniversary Year Clubs (rolling 12-month):
Memberships run 12 months from each member's individual join/renewal date, so there's no January cutoff to manage. New members can be added anytime without double-billing concerns.
Officer transitions: If your club is bringing on new officers/admins, get them up to speed on club platforms. Refreshers are available on our Renewal Hub Page and click below to view the 2027 Renewal Checklist to help get ready for the new year.
Security Updates to USGA Admin Portal & MemberPlanet
FOR ALL CLUB ADMINS
You may have already noticed some changes when logging into USGA Admin Portal and MemberPlanet. As part of their ongoing commitment to protect their platforms and your data, both systems are updating their admin login processes.
USGA Admin Portal:
All Admin Portal users will be required to update their password. If you haven't already, when you next sign in, you will be prompted to use the Forgot Password link to create a new password that meets the updated requirements.
MemberPlanet:
Two-factor verification will now send you an email verification code when you login as an admin to your club's MemberPlanet platform.
Additionally, MemberPlanet is updating the way NCGA support team members log in to access all NCGA clubs.
You will see a new folder in your Admins section with NCGA support team members.
You may get a notification that "Someone has joined your group" and the new member has an @ncga.org email. This notification can be disregarded as they will not be on the club's active roster and will not be billed.
