Getting Ready for 2026
For Club Admins
As 2026 approaches, we wanted to highlight some reminders regarding club management for the new year.
- In January 2026, there will be a small member fee increase from $46 to $48 for every active member on your club's roster. The membership fees are the only fees that will be included on your club's invoice.
- If your club is a Calendar Year Club from Jan-Dec. please be sure that new members are not added to your roster until after January 1, 2026. If new members are added before the 1/1/26 date, the club will be charged for both 2025 and 2026 (no refunds available).
- Renewing members are fine to make payments before 1/1/26, and they can remain on the club roster.
- If you're a Calendar Year Club and are interested in moving to a rolling 12-month membership, please feel free to reach out to me. The clubs that have made the change have found it easier to recruit members all year long.
- If you anticipate any changes to your club's roles, please be sure to bring any new club officers up to speed regarding the different club platforms. If you need any refreshers, please visit our Renewal Hub page linked here.
- If the club wishes to change the Club Representative, please contact me directly.

The best players in the world will be coming to the Monterey Bay area for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, February 9 -15, and the event is looking for volunteers!
Volunteers are essential to the event, with a wide range of roles—from operations and scoring to guest services and hospitality—offering opportunities to match every interest and skill set.

For Club Rep and Tournament Chair
The NCGA heard your feedback loud and clear. Bluegolf TM Premium will soon be available free to all NCGA clubs. This will allow clubs to use Bluegolf TM's Premium features, including:

More information will come out shortly as to when this upgrade will be live for all NCGA clubs.

All New NCGA Women's Programming for 2026!
For all Club Members
The NCGA is proud to announce all-new women’s golf programming for the 2026 season, designed to make women’s golf in Northern California more vibrant, inclusive, and accessible than ever before.
Beginning in 2026, NCGA is introducing an all-new Women's One Day Series, open to all female NCGA members. With expanded opportunities for play, a simplified structure, and a brand-new points program, 2026 marks an exciting new era for women’s golf across the region.
With renewal season in full swing, don't forget that you have access to marketing templates that you can use for your club. The templates linked below can easily be edited to highlight your club's information and benefits, along with the NCGA benefits.
The poster template can be printed and placed at the front of the pro-shop register or even handed out during a club event to prospective members. Similarly, the email template can be used when communicating with prospective members, such as golfers who play your course but are not members of your club.
Be sure to click on the TN icons on the template for a tip on what club information should be included and the best formatting to use.
Rules of Golf 101: Stroke Play vs Match Play
For all Club Members
Most NCGA events are played as stroke play, but match play is also a very popular format, and one you’ll likely play from time to time.
The Rules of Golf might be applied differently, though, depending on which format you're playing in.
We currently have NCGA rules seminars open for registration for 2026. Please click here to view all the seminars available to you.
Test your NCGA and Golf Knowledge
For all Club Members
We’re excited to introduce a new perk for your club, our monthly NCGA quiz! Put your NCGA and golf knowledge to the test for a chance to win great prizes. Open to Club Reps and your Club's members alike.
Congratulations to last month's winner, Steven Vaughn, and the Club Rep, Darrel Bridges, from Valley Oaks Golf Club!
For this month's quiz, simply share the link below with your club members. All the top scores will be entered into a lottery for Gift Cards. Plus, if the winner is a member of your club, the Club Representative will also receive a special prize!
