NCGA Players League!
For the Tournament Chair
NCGA Player's League is open to every private, semi-private, and public golf course within the NCGA. Teams are comprised of seven players– six amateur members and one member from each club’s professional staff.
Each match is ordered based on Handicap Index, but played to scratch, utilizing the scratch league points system to score matches.
Group winners meet in the NCGA Player's League Finals and two teams from that event then advance, along with two clubs from the Southern California League, to compete in the California League Championship.
As presented on the Club Rep Day, we have created a new marketing template that you can use for your club. The templates linked below can easily be edited to highlight your club's information and benefits, along with the NCGA benefits.
The poster template can be printed and placed at the front of the pro-shop register or even handed out during a club event to prospective members. Similarly, the email template can be used when communicating with prospective members, such as golfers who play your course who are not members of your club.
Be sure to click on the TN icons on the template for a tip on what club information should be included and the best formatting to use.
USGA Club Assessment
For the Club Handicap Chair
On Monday, April 7, the USGA sent out an Assessment to all Clubs to verify that their club information is up to date. A reminder email was also sent on May 1. Please be sure that your club has completed the assessment before July 1, 2025.
The assessment for this year is very short and should only take a minute to complete. Each club has a specific link for their assessment, so if you need another link, please contact Jeff at jvanderhoof@ncga.org.
FREE NCGA Fantasy Golf League!

Just two Major Championships remain, and the excitement of the US Open kicks off this week! Make sure your club members know about the free NCGA Fantasy League they can join.

As presented during the Club Rep Day, the NCGA Club Finder Tool Phase 1 is almost ready to go live on our website. This tool can enhance your club's reach to new prospective members in your area.
