One of the most-asked questions I have been getting is "OK I'm a club rep, what should I do?"
1. Take 5 minutes and review the 'role description' we used in the club rep recruiting process and skim through the website so you know what all is there.
2. Informally check in with a few of your members to get a sense of their general NCGA awareness. If it is high, good start. If it is low, then I will be sharing some more specific ideas.
In May, I will send you a short survey to check in with you!

NCGA Member and Club Engagement
Rule of the Month The first of each month, we feature one of the many interesting aspects of the Rules of Golf to share with your club. This is a great way to reinforce learning - one rule at a time, one month at a time!
This month, it's our annual NCGA Rules Quiz! You can find it in the NCGA GOLF winter magazine issue that just came out, or click on the link below for the digital version.
By now, you should know the NCGA 2024 schedule is accessible via the NCGA website, that there are 3 registration windows and we send monthly reminders. Also your clubs should be entering the NCGA inter-club championships (Zones or Associate Club).
For the past 5 years, we sent out an annual member satisfaction survey to get feedback. This year, we are transitioning from once a year to monthly pulses. You or your fellow members may be receiving one, it comes from our partner, Players 1st. It is not a scam, it is legitimate - so please pass the word, we want to hear how we're doing!
Mandatory USGA Handicap Quiz
Prior to June 30, 2024, a representative from each and every NCGA club must pass a World Handicap System quiz. By now, the lead handicap person in your club should have received their instructions. Please find out who that is and ask them. If they have not, they can go to our website Contact Us page or call NCGA Customer Support and ask for Jeff Vanderhoof.
Events for Women
Let your women members know that there was a webinar on March 4th to review women's tournaments and some rules.
