31st NCGA Net Amateur Championship

History
First played in 1994, the NCGA Net Amateur Championship is an individual handicap event for NCGA members of regular clubs. It is contested in three flights divided by Handicap Index. The championship rotates every year between Poppy Hills GC and Poppy Ridge GC.

2017
Harding Park GC member Randy Shirbroun made it a wire-to-wire win. Shirbroun shot a second round 6-under 66 to finish at 12-under 132, defeating runner-up Travis Early of Shelter Cove GC by a shot.
2018
First round leader Matt Fegley, from Richmond CC, held on for the title in the Big Sur Flight of the Net Championship. A final round 72 was good for a 4-under 138 total and a three-shot victory.
2019
Michael Culy took the title, carding a final round 5-under 67 to come in at 7-under 137. Second place went to Eric Jarvis at 139 after a 67. Tony Potter and Bob Volk each placed third at 141.

Woodson Norvell of Phoenix Lake GC took the top spot, carding a final round 3-under 68 to finish at 2-ove4 144. Matt Baham was second at 146 after a 69. Third place went to Luke Sanny at 148.
2022
Gregory Garcia won the title in dramatic fashion, carding a net par on the first playoff hole (par-4 1st) to win the title. He'd defeat Joe Chen.
