2020
Jeff Burda added another part to what is already an incredible amateur resume’. The now 67-year-old retired banker won the 5th annual NCGA Super Senior Amateur in his debut, defeating runner-up Rick Doebler, 1-up, in Friday’s finals at Spyglass Hill.
2021
Back in the spring, good friends Frank Pieper and Rich Cleghorn, who both live in the Santa Cruz area, teamed up to win the NCGA Super Senior Four-Ball Championship. This time around, they both couldn’t walk away as winners.
2022
Modesto resident Jeff Burda just keeps doing his thing. Burda, a 69-year-old retired former banker, won his record 12th NCGA Senior title, capturing the Super Senior Amateur with a dominating 7 and 6 win over Rick Doebler on Friday at Spyglass Hill.
2023
Casey Boyns added to his NCGA Hall of Fame career, winning his first NCGA Super Senior title by defeating runner-up Herb Jensen.
It marked Boyns' 10th career NCGA Senior title and 26th overall.
